Cristo para las Naciones (Spanish Christ for the Nations) was founded in Dallas, Texas in 1998. With the growing population of the Hispanic community in the U.S. the Lindsay family was burdened with the increasing need of practical ministry training in the Spanish language. Spanish CFNI is currently directed by Hugo Martínez, a dynamic speaker and leader to the Hispanic culture. Under his direction the school has experienced new growth in the area of music and worship, and with help from Jason Hibdon, Spanish CFNI’s worship director, the first official praise and worship recording SuperGod was recently released under the distribution of CFN Music and ReyVol Records, one of the fastest growing record labels and distributors in the Spanish Christian music industry.
“SuperGod is an energetic, passionate expression of worship recorded live during Spanish YFN 2007. This recording reflects the praise and worship times that the student body lives every day and is proof of the favor and mercy that God has for the students, staff and teachers by allowing the privilege of His presence in such a powerful and tangible way.” – Hugo Martínez, Director, Spanish Christ for the Nations.
“Our purpose in recording SuperGod is to communicate our love and passion to God with today’s sound and energy that doesn’t quit - in fact, that is our vision and purpose in worship every day with the students. The night on which the recording was made was an unforgettable experience and it is our desire that with this CD others can take home a piece of what God is doing in our lives here at Spanish CFNI. We want to see people, especially young people, free to express their love and gratitude to God with their own sound and their own vernacular in a way that is real and passionate to them.” – Jason Hibdon, Producer, Director of Worship, Spanish Christ for the Nations. |
