The Advanced School of Worship and Technical Arts (SOWTA) at Christ For The Nations Institute is a two-semester program designed to equip students with practical skills in all areas of worship and technical arts ministry. Courses are taught in mini-mesters, which last two to four weeks, allowing both full and part-time students the opportunity to focus on one skill at a time. With an emphasis on student projects, students are trained and challenged, acquiring real-world experience along the way. This knowledge enables them to serve in a variety of ministry capacities in the areas of worship and technical arts. What You Experience: |
Student Internship: All full-time SOWTA students are required to participate in a student internship during each semester. The student is required to serve a minimum of four hours each week in the worship, music or technical department on campus or with a local church or ministry. | SOWTA Chapels: SOWTA has its own chapel services in the morning. Each Advanced School of Worship student is required to lead at least one chapel service during the semester. This gives an opportunity for the student to put into practice what he or she is learning. | CD Project: During the semester, our students complete a full-scale CD project. As the Advanced School of Worship students are learning how to write and produce songs, the School of Technical Arts students are learning to engineer. Therefore, the project is written, produced and engineered completely by SOWTA students. |
